Rooftops have always captured my attention like these in Florence, Italy (above). Maybe it’s the expression “a roof over your head.” Perhaps it’s that you know underneath is a home or business. A rooftop represents not only shelter, but people to me.

Thanks so much Lottie — I seem to be really consistent with taking photos. When I was paging through my albums I kept coming across the same theme of rooftops. So here they are! 🙂
I love the last one, Steph. You can barely see the Eiffel Tower in the distance, but it still commands attention.
